This Week at the VIC

MMM... Maple

What a delicious treat!

A HUGE thank you to all that braved the weather this weekend and joined us for our NYS Maple Weekend breakfast!

We'd also like to acknowledge Chef David Pittman for putting together such delectable dishes. Additionally, a special recognition is in order for the staff that worked hard to make this event possible.

We hope to see you again next year!

Peak-A-Boo

A few weeks ago, an otter was spotted out on the ice! Thank you Jim Tucker for sharing these! We can't wait to see them swimming around soon.

3rd Annual Salamander Festival

UPDATE

Now on Sunday, April 7th

Join PSC students from The Wildlife Society chapter and learn all about salamanders and other amphibians! Students will present on the biology and ecology of our local amphibians. Come learn proper handling techniques and take a walk outside to explore their natural habitat.

Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm

All ages are welcome. Fun activities for kids and adults; crafts, competitions and amphibian ID games.

Eclipse Campout

All camping sites have sold out!

Make a memorable weekend of it and get the full eclipse adventure right here! On April 8th, we are lucky enough to fall in the path of totality of the solar eclipse. Paul Smith’s VIC has one of the best viewing locations in the Adirondacks. Enjoy this rare, astronomical event in the peace and quiet of our 25+ miles of trails filled with beautiful, natural surroundings and a sense of tranquility.
