Dear ALCM member:
It is time to elect officers to fill the following positions on the Board of Directors: Secretary/Treasurer and three Directors.
Please review the bios and vision statements of the candidates.
Then vote for candidates for these positions. Ballots must be received by Tuesday, June 4 to be counted.
Secretary/Treasurer
The term of office for the Secretary/Treasurer is for three years. The specific duties of the Secretary/Treasurer are included in the ALCM constitution, which is available in the "ALCM Governing and Other Docs" section in the members area of the website. Two candidates are running for the office of Secretary/Treasurer: Michael Krentz and David Ritter. You will place a vote for one candidate.
Directors (3)
The term of office for Directors is three years. In addition to their service on the Board, Directors serve as liaisons from the Board on such task forces and projects as may be assigned by the Board. Three Directors are being elected from the voting membership by means of a slate recommended by the Board of Directors. Please note that these three candidates are not running against each other. You are voting to have all three of them fill the three vacant board positions.
Please vote “Yes” or “No” for each candidate. (You may also abstain.) Candidates receiving more than 50% of the votes cast will be elected. Any candidate who receives less than 50% will not be elected and the Board will put forward a new nominee for that position. The three candidates are Karla Devine, Matthew Frable, and Omaldo Perez.
Please note: Each ALCM member may vote once. If you share an email address with another ALCM member, you are both eligible to cast one vote.
