National Safe Boating Week

National safe boating week is May 20-26. With summer just around the corner we want to take a moment to remind everyone to stay safe on the water. Please be mindful of the no wake zones around the lake and the dredging operation that continues on the east end.

The State of Indiana requires that everyone operating a boat over 10 horsepower must have either only a license or learner's permit (and with a learner's permit operators must also complete a boater safety course).

Please DO NOT allow your children to operate a PWC, as this creates unnecessary danger to all on the lake. LLCD boating rules can be found on our website here. Remember... lifejackets save lives!

Cheers,

Ross Carlson, LLCD Operations Manager

Dock Subleases

Time is running out! If you would like to execute a previously approved dock sublease, we need your signed agreement and payment ASAP.

The final due date for sublease fee payment is May 31, 2023 after which time the surplus parcel may be offered to another Freeholder for sublease. The sublease agreement will be void if payment is not received by the LLCD and/or if a valid sublease agreement is not executed by all parties by the final due date.

For Freeholders who have completed the sublease agreement and paid, dock stickers have all been mailed. If you haven't received your dock sticker yet, please let me know.

Questions about your sublease? Please click below to email Jess.
