State: California Adopts 2026-27 Budget
California has enacted its 2026-27 budget, addressing a projected shortfall through a combination of spending reductions, reserve funds, borrowing, and other fiscal measures. The budget includes several tax and revenue provisions affecting businesses but does not provide broad-based tax relief for most employers. The Chamber will continue monitoring state fiscal and tax policy developments that may affect the local business community. Click here and here for more information.

The Chamber is excited to share three featured guides: Teen Tested, highlighting favorite local spots chosen with input from Los Gatos teens; Outdoor Art of Los Gatos, showcasing murals, sculptures, and public art throughout town; and our newest addition, Sports & Recreation, featuring parks, trails, and active ways to enjoy everything Los Gatos has to offer.
More themed itineraries, including Pawsitively Los Gatos, are coming soon.

GOLD Thursdays is a monthly, business-led downtown community experience designed to encourage connection while supporting local businesses.
Stop by to enjoy complimentary cannolis from 5 to 7 PM at Grays Lane or while supply lasts. Groove to the live music and an evening of strolling, shopping, dining, and connecting in downtown Los Gatos.

Taste of Los Gatos - Now Accepting Applications
Taste of Los Gatos returns Saturday, Sept. 19, from noon to 5:00 PM, bringing thousands downtown for an afternoon of food, wine, music, and community in a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly atmosphere.

Calling Downtown Merchants & Local Wineries!
Downtown Chamber merchants interested in hosting a winery and local wineries interested in pouring are also invited to apply. Space is limited and filling quickly, so interested participants should submit an application soon to be considered. Merchant hosts must be Chamber members in good standing.

Free and open to all, this family-friendly festival features tasting wristbands in Bites Only or Bites + Libations, offering signature bites from more than 25 local restaurants, regional wineries, plus beer, cider, and mocktails from the tap truck.
