2027 Annual Stewardship Campaign

Dear family and friends,

November ushers in our Annual Stewardship Month, a season of gratitude, reflection, and commitment to sustaining the life of our church. We invite you to prayerfully consider the blessing of our community and how you can support its continued vitality.

Our goal for 2027 is to receive 70 donations and raise $375,000. This translates to an average gift of $5,400 per donor. Some will need to give less, others will be able to give more, but please know that every gift matters no matter the amount. The good news is that in working together, as a hopeful community, we can all help to reach our goal!

This year, we’ve made it even easier to pledge:

  • Pledge online at www.ccpvw.org

  • Use the pledge cards available in the Narthex or that you receive in the mail.

  • You can mail them in or drop off at the church.

Let’s come together as a community to achieve this important goal.

With Gratitude for your Generosity and Support

By Popular Demand!

Many of you have asked Rev. Matt for the lyrics to the second song from last week’s sermon. We are delighted to share them with you:

Saints and Angels

by The Waterboys

This is a wide world we travel

And our paths rarely cross

And we do a whole lot of living

In between

So come and share

More than time

We'll put our cares

Far behind

While we sail

The ship that never goes to sea

It could be months

It could be years

Before we find each other

Once again standing here

So until then my friend

I have a wish for you

Many hearts

To keep you warm

Many lights

To guide you through the storm

And may the saints and angels

Watch over you

And may the saints and angels

Watch over you

And may the saints and angels

Watch over you
