Chapter 92 Members, Industry Partners & Friends:
I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and had the opportunity to enjoy some well-deserved time with family and friends. It is hard to believe we are already heading into fall and the final few months of 2026!
We continued to provide opportunities for our members to learn, stay connected, and grow professionally. This quarter, we hosted our DC Property Manager Licensing Webinar, as well as the SMART Association Management Seminar. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make these educational opportunities a success. Continuing to provide relevant education and resources for our members remains an important part of what we do as a chapter.
In August, we were also excited to announce the proposed IREM Chapter 92 Slate of Officers and Directors for 2027. I am excited about the leadership ahead and grateful to everyone who has stepped forward to serve our chapter. The continued involvement of our members is what allows Chapter 92 to grow, bring new ideas forward, and remain such a strong professional community. As summer comes to an end, I am especially looking forward to getting everyone back together for some of our favorite Chapter 92 events. We kick things off on September 10th with our Annual Maryland Crab Feast at May’s Restaurant in Frederick. This is always such a fun event and a great opportunity to reconnect after the summer. As part of our Crab Feast, we are partnering with Heartly House for our donation drive. I encourage everyone attending to please bring an item from the donation wish list that you will find in the Community Action corner of this e-newsletter. Giving back to the communities we serve has been an important focus for us throughout the year, and I am proud that we continue to find ways to make community service part of the Chapter 92 experience.
Following the Crab Feast, we will come together again for our 23rd Annual IREM Chapter 92 Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, September 18th at Bretton Woods Golf Course. This is always one of our most anticipated events of the year, bringing together our Members, Industry Partners, Colleagues, and Friends for a great day of golf, networking, and fun. I hope to see many of you there!
We also have plenty to look forward to as we close out the year. Our November Dinner Meeting will be held on November 12th at Pinstripes at Pike & Rose in North Bethesda, followed by our Regional Holiday Happy Hour held with IREM 8 and IREM 77 on December 8th at Clyde's of Gallery Place. I encourage everyone to continue checking the Chapter 92 website for registration information and updates on all our upcoming events.
As always, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to our Board of Directors, Committee Chairs, Industry Partners, Sponsors, Volunteers, and Members who continue to give their time, energy, and support to Chapter 92. Whether you attend an event, volunteer in the community, participate in one of our educational programs, or simply help spread the word about what our chapter has to offer, your involvement makes a difference.
I hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing Labor Day weekend. I am looking forward to seeing many of you at Crab Feast this Thursday, and throughout the fall as we reconnect, continue building relationships, and finish 2026 strong together!
