Also Hooked on Yoked Colorwork Knitting

As much as I love vest knitting, I also really love Yoked Colorwork knitting! Actually, I just truly love knitting! This past week I finished Móinéar by Ailbíona McLochlainn using Ideal by Manos del Uruguay. I'm so happy with my combination of the Citric and Oxblood colorways!

This is one of the simplest colorwork patterns I have ever worked with and I am offering a class to create this sweater that starts on March 2nd!

This week there are 2 in-store stitching events where you can experience community stitching fun. Tonight(Feb 4th) is Sip & Stitch from 4-6PM and Friday Feb 6th is the weekly Friday Fiber Friends from 12-1:30PM.

Expanded Cambria DK Palette...7 New Colors!

I have been so pleased with the community response to the Cambria DK private label yarn. The yarn is gorgeous and a delight to work with! And now there are seven new colors to expand the palette!

Big Sur Jade, Local Honey, Love Story Project, Pebbles, Piedras Blancas, Spellbound, and True Earth join the existing colors that celebrate Cambria and the Central Coast. I suspect Cambria DK will quickly become your new favorite yarn!

Red Yarns Are So Hot Right Now

I am happy to share that I still have several skeins of red yarns in stock!

I am personally participating in the Craftivism movement that is happening world-wide. It has been fascinating to learn about the history and impact of knitting. I used Cambria DK in colorway Cinnabar to knit my hat! Reach out if you want help with the Melt the Ice Hat pattern or selecting yarn! Several people were working on their hats during last week's Friday Fiber Friends. I'll be available this week as well to lend a hand!
