Organized by the World Green Infrastructure Network (WGIN), welcome to the WGIC26 – 12th World Green Infrastructure Congres s held from October 27 to 30, 2026 at the International Convention Centre of Barcelona (CCIB), Catalonia, Spain.

Barcelona and Lleida will welcome the international green infrastructure community for four days of keynotes, scientific sessions, technical visits, exhibitions, and networking.

Four Days, Two Cities, Three Ways to Take Part:

Oct 27-28: Congress & Workshops = 6 Expert Duet Keynotes, 5 parallel tracks, 100+ oral presentations, poster sessions, and the WGIN Awards across 2 full days.

Oct 29: Technical Tour Visits = 3 guided itineraries with 5 stops each through Barcelona’s iconic green roofs, living façades & urban gardens explained onsite by the teams behind them. Enjoy first-hand access to green infrastructure projects across the city, connecting theory, practice, and real urban transformation.
