Atlanta Pride Parade!

October is also the month that we'll continue our

Knowing Who We Are series. This week we'll dive deeper into the topic by studying scripture out of the gospel of Matthew.

Pride Parade Involvement Opportunity

The North Georgia UMC is seeking names of those who wish to walk in the parade and those who will assist in building the North Georgia UMC Pride Float.

They're also asking for people to sign up to assist with set up and passing out water, as well as making signs to carry in the parade with Linked In and paper sign up rosters for our congregation.

Saint Mark is also seeking people to help with site specific tasks on the day of the parade. These people will be positioned around the church grounds.

Join the Produce Pick-up Team

We're looking for 1-2 volunteers to join our Produce Pick-up Team. This team will pick up supplies at FreshPoint in Fairburn, GA at 10:00am on Friday morning (Oct. 3) for the Saint Mark food ministries.

Pride Flag Celebration

We heard your feedback during Pride Month, and because we value your input, we're ensuring that the pride flag will be hung in preparation for this year's pride parade! Be there when the flag is displayed for all of midtown to see, and celebrate with us as it flows in the breeze.

For dinner reservations, please email the Church Office or complete the Attendance Form no later than 2PM on Wednesday, September 24th.

The cost of dinner is $10 for those aged 60+ and $11 for those aged 36-59. Young Adults, ages 18-35, receive a complimentary meal paid for by the Young Adult Ministry.
