June 2024

Dear Residents & Community Members,

We hope this update finds you well and beginning to enjoy the start of the Summer season. The Town of Monroe was pleased to host its June Food Truck Festival recently. Blessed with good weather, great food and music and of course an amazing number of attendees, we are once again reminded of the importance of opportunities to celebrate our community. Please see the photos below for a glimpse into this day of fun! The event's beneficiary, First Due Ladies Crew, raised over $2,800 for their efforts in supporting the Monroe Joint Fire District. Thank you to those who attended and to all who work tirelessly to make this day a reality.

Summer is often known as the season of fun with so many happenings this time of year...barbecues, graduation parties and family vacations to name a few, remind us of all that is good in our lives. With the 4th of July quickly approaching, the Village of Monroe will once again host an Independence Day Celebration on the Millponds sponsored by the Villages of Monroe and Harriman and the Town of Monroe. The fireworks display grows more spectacular each year and we hope you'll be able to attend to see for yourself! Please see the flyer below for more information on this event.

On behalf of the Town Board we extend our congratulations to to the Class of 2024 and their proud families. Wishing all of our graduates the best of luck as they embark on their next journey!

Cordially,

Tony Cardone
