"Grow in Faith, Serve with Love, Invite into Fellowship"

All Saints Sunday

Sunday, November 2

On this day, we remember the saints that have gone before us and the saints that bless us here today...which includes ourselves. We also especially remember those from St. Paul's who have joined the chorus of saints with God since last year. There will also be an opportunity to remember any saints in your life who you wish to celebrate since last year as we ring the bell out front.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Please join us in helping local families in need this Thanksgiving. We will be collecting food for 350 food boxes for the Honey Brook Food Pantry and 50 boxes for Care Center. There are 2 ways you can help.

If you are interested in shopping and purchasing food directly, please consider signing up to supply a full meal for the Care Center. Click here to see the list of items. Items due by November 16.

Don't like to shop or would prefer to provide a monetary donation, please help us with the Honey Brook Food Pantry collection. Due to the large number of items needed, we will be purchasing items in bulk. Your monetary donation will help us buy things like cases of green beans, flats of stuffing, etc. We estimate it will cost $15 for each food box for Honey Brook.

We also need help packing up the food boxes for the Honey Brook Food Pantry on Saturday, November 1 at 10:00 am. To sign up to help with packing, please click here.

Also, please consider donating leftover Halloween candy to add a special treat to the boxes. Donations can be left on the sign up table in the narthex.

Sign up here to contribute to the drive.

Thank you!

This Sunday is Honey Sunday!

This Sunday, November 2, our youth will have a table outside of the sanctuary after worship to take honey orders and accept donations. This honey is produced by the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch organization, which provides residential, educational, and support services for at-risk youth and their families in North Dakota. Proceeds benefit this organization, as well as our own St. Paul's/St. Matthew's youth ministry. Enjoy some sweetness while you support two good causes!

New Members Classes

New Member Classes continue Sunday, November 2 from 7-8 pm for four weeks as an opportunity to grow in faith, learn more about St. Paul’s and build friendships with others who are also joining. Child care will be provided. If you would like to attend or have any questions, please feel free to email PastorStuart@StPaulsLionville.org or call 610-804-1740.

Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service

Thank you in advance for your continued support of this charity drive!

Church Directory Update

In preparation for printing another church directory in December, if your contact information has changed or if you have a picture of you or your family to share, please use this simple online form. Thanks for keeping the directory up to date to help get to know each other!

Chat and Chews Book Club

The Chat and Chews Sunday School Book Club meets on the THIRD Sunday of each month, after the late service in the Lounge next to the Hospitality Room. Our next meeting will be on Sunday, November 16, and we will discuss 2 books: "Frozen River," by Ariel Lawhon, and "Prayer--Does it Make a Difference," by Philip Yancey. You do not have to finish the book or even read it to join us in a lively and faithful discussion. Please contact Gwen Werner or call the church office for more information. Happy Reading!

Cradles to Crayons Collection

Cradles to Crayons helps fight clothing insecurity for children and operates under the ideal that Quality = Dignity. NEW socks, underwear, and hygiene items are also greatly needed.

In conjunction with kids' clothes, we are also collecting new and/or gently used coats for all ages to donate to Honey Brook Food Pantry for fall distribution.

Donation boxes for both collections are in the narthex. Our donation period will run until Saturday, November 1.

Thank you for your support of these local charities!

This is an informal, inclusive and adapted service open to all in the community, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, regardless of faith background. The service includes joyous music, singing and brief, meaningful, pastor-led sermons.

Transportation Help Needed for Social Ministry

Our Social Ministry is always working on projects to help support St. Paul's and our local community. Many of these activities involve transporting large loads of items, whether it's transporting donations for the thrift store from people's homes, picking up large food orders for food drives, or delivering kits to Lutheran World Relief In-Gatherings. If you have access to a large SUV or truck and are willing to work your muscles a little, we can use your help! We're looking to create an email list so when a need arises we can reach out and see who is available to help. If you're able to help, please email Jenn Pindle-Lloyd to be added to the list. Thank you for supporting our Social Ministry and their outreach projects.
