As we start planning for our Spring Fling on May 1, 2026, we’re looking for parents who might be willing to host an event that we can include in the auction.

These hosted events are a great way to bring people together and raise meaningful funds for our school. We have pulled together a list of ideas that you can find here.

The ideas on the SignUpGenius are just suggestions and starting points. The details are completely flexible. Events can be simple. They don’t need to be fancy or expensive. Some of the most popular ones in the past have been the most relaxed and low-key.

Hosting also doesn’t automatically mean opening your home. Depending on the idea, some events could potentially be held at ZHPP or another easy local spot.

If you have an idea but want to talk it through first, please reach out. The fundraising team and Board co-chairs are very happy to brainstorm with you before you commit to anything. Just email board@zhpp.org and we’ll connect.

We’re also very open to ideas that aren’t on the list at all. If there’s something you’d love to do with a group of parents or kids, chances are others would love it too.

We know everyone is busy, and we’re incredibly grateful to anyone willing to help in this way. These events are about more than fundraising, they’re about building community and giving families more chances to connect outside of drop-off and pickup.
