Associate Professor Jaime Booth and doctoral student Christina Huerta's new article "Political Climate, Discrimination, and Mental Health: Understanding Latino Youth Experience During the 2016 Presidential Election" was published in the Journal of Sociology & Social Welfare.
Hogue retires from DHS after 24 years
After 24 plus years, MSW alumna Sue Hogue, will retire from McKean County and conclude her professional service in her role as a resource care coordinator within the Department of Human Services. Read more in the Bradford Era.
Never a Spectator Civic Engagement Forum - Advocacy, Activism, and Action: Emerging Leaders Inspiring Change
March 11, 4:30 to 6:30 pm. Pitt graduate and undergraduate students participate in small group discussions and share their priorities with advocates, activists, leaders, and changemakers on March 11. This year’s event will champion advocates and activists of every kind as mentors, including MSW alumna Morgan Overton, and host keynote speaker and two-time Emmy Award winner, Emmai Alaquiva, to share how the arts have inspired social change.
