Leader in Me

Leadership Notebooks

Students have been hard at work on Tab 1 ("My Self"), reflecting on and sharing their individual strengths and interests. Heading into October, we are excited to launch the next section: **Wildly Important Goals (WIGs)**. Each student will create their very own WIG for this school year and take ownership of monitoring their progress. We look forward to watching their binders—and leadership journeys—grow!

The 7 Habits

1. Be Proactive- Personal Responsibility "I am in charge of my choices, mood, and actions."

2. Begin with the End in Mind- Goal Setting "I plan ahead and set meaningful goals for myself."

3. Put First Things First-Time Management "I do my work first, then I play."

4. Think Win-Win- Problem Solving "I look for solutions where everyone can feel good."

5. Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood-Listening & Empathy"I listen to others' ideas and feelings before I share mine."

6. Synergize-Teamwork "Together we are better and can accomplish more."

7. Sharpen the Saw-Balance & Wellness "I take care of my body, mind, heart, and spirit."
