 Dear NHSCPA Members,

I am pleased to share that yesterday, Governor Ayotte signed HB1259 into law.



This legislation represents a significant milestone for the CPA profession in New Hampshire, expanding pathways to licensure and enhancing interstate mobility. Its passage reflects the dedication, advocacy, and collaboration of many across our professional community.

I would like to extend special recognition to Kevin Kennedy of Kennedy & Company, PLLC, NHSCPA Board Member and Co-Chair of the Tax and Legislative Committee; Michelle McVetty of Cohos Advisors, PLLC, Co-Chair of the Tax and Legislative Committee; and Dr. Jonathan Nash of the University of New Hampshire, NHSCPA Board Member, for their leadership and commitment throughout this process.

My sincere thanks also to Teresa Rosenberger of Bernstein Shur for her valuable guidance and support.

Finally, I would like to thank the NHSCPA Board of Directors for their steadfast support over the past year. This achievement would not have been possible without your collective efforts.
