The Choir is back!

The Ministry of Music is for everyone, not just professional or trained musicians. The CHS choir is open to anyone. There is no audition requirement. We welcome all voice parts, but we could use some tenors and basses right now. The choir supports congregational singing, leads hymns, and offers anthems throughout the year.

Choir Rehearsal – There will be a choir rehearsal every Tuesday evening from 7-8:30pm in the St. Frances room. If you are interested in singing with the choir, please contact George Fernandes or Tricia Simpson-Curtin.

Bagels & Books

The new books are available for pickup now in the church office. Mark your calendar for the Nov. 15 book club meeting after the 10 AM church service. The national best seller , "My Beloved World", is the amazing autobiography of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomajor, the first Hispanic to serve on the court. Her life growing up poor in the projects of the South Bronx shaped her career. Witty, well written and interesting; the book is a must read for anyone interested in the life of famous people. Bagels and books are on the menu Nov. 15.

November 16 - Welcome the Stranger

Do you have a Cheerful Heart and a Warm, Inviting Smile? Please join us on Monday, Nov. 16th at 7:00 PM to help formulate a new lay ministry that welcomes visitors, engages newcomers, and reaches out to parishioners who have stopped attending Sunday worship recently. There are different facets to “Welcoming the Stranger.” Chat with Judy Cahall, Diane Hrozencik or Eva Lesniak to find out more. Email eva@churchholyspirit.org for the November 16th Zoom link.

Open Cupboard Current Needs

Did you know? SNAP benefits generally cannot be used to purchase personal hygiene products like deodorant.

That means many of our neighbors have to go without—or make the impossible choice between putting food on the table and taking care of basic personal needs.

That’s where our community can make a difference. 💙

The picture shows the special needs at this time.
