Mississippi Farmers Market
Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m .

September has arrived at long last!

And, here at the Mississippi Farmers Market,
we could not be happier to greet Sweet September, and
embrace all of the wonders it yields.
Most shoppers will eagerly dash into September at the market this week,
while still hoping to find the best of late summer produce.
Do not panic! Smile, be happy. You're shopping at the MFM after all!

Of course, no one can be faulted for feeling energized by thoughts
of an Autumn harvest, the sight of pumpkins both big and small,
green peanuts for boiling, cozy quilts, ideas for your holiday lists,
and delicious sweets, baked goods and the best of tailgating treats!

However, let's not get too ahead of ourselves.
As the saying goes "All good things are worth the wait." or is it
"All good things are worth waiting for." True enough however it is proclaimed.
Then again, "It's difficult to think anything but pleasant thoughts
while eating a homegrown tomato." - Lewis Grizzard.
