At that time, the RBC Place London Board of Directors initiated an extensive process to recruit, interview and recommend the best person to lead the organization forward. After conducting an international search with almost 200 applicants, the Board appointed task force recommended Darrin as Lori’s successor.
Darrin brings a wealth of experience to this role, having served in various leadership positions within the hospitality industry for over three decades. His proven track record of driving operational excellence, fostering innovation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences aligns seamlessly with our commitment to excellence at RBC Place London.
Darrin joined the RBCPL team in 2011 in his current role as Director of Business Development to lead sales and marketing efforts by bringing in a collaborative approach both internally and from a wider city and regional perspective. Darrin is committed to elevating the guest experience by building and inspiring engaged teams that thrive in providing seamless and innovative event execution.
During his time with us, Darrin has consistently demonstrated his passion for our organization's mission and values. His collaborative approach, coupled with his ability to inspire and empower teams, has been instrumental in our continued growth and success.
As General Manager and CEO, Darrin will be responsible for leading our day-to-day operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring that RBC Place London remains a premier destination for events, conferences, and gatherings of all kinds.
