AGA Newsletter | April 2026

This month, Ann's Guardian Angels, Inc. celebrates 19 years in business. In April of 2007, Ann Neale opened a caregiving business in Centerville, Cape Cod utilizing her talents and experience as a social counselor. Since then, Ann has grown her business into a well-loved and trustworthy community partner that countless families have turned to for compassionate-based home healthcare. We are so thankful for all the caregivers, staff and clients for choosing Ann's Guardian Angels. We are also looking forward to celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2027 and invite you to stay tuned for special invitations. Listen to Ann's story here.

EXCELLENCE IN CAREGIVING SPOTLIGHT

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Karen Joakim and Jocelyn Payne for going above and beyond in their service to our clients. Their compassion, reliability, and dedication truly make a difference every day. We are so grateful for the care they provide and the positive impact they have on the lives of those we serve. Ann awarded them both $100 gas gift cards as a small token of appreciation. Thank you, Karen and Jocelyn, for representing our team with excellence!

Caregiving Resource

An up-to-date medication list is an important tool for the family caregiver and your care recipient’s doctor(s). People with chronic diseases or disabilities take more medications than any other group of patients. With the number of medications some patients take, the issue of medication management can easily become overwhelming.

Good health outcomes are three times less likely for patients who do not take medications correctly as compared to those that do. Improper use of medications causes 18 million emergency room visits per year. In the links below, we offer a way to manage the medications for families, clients and caregivers. Hope this is helpful to you!

Quote Of The Month

“Regardless of what challenge you are facing right now, know that it has not come to stay. It has come to pass. During these times, do what you can with what you have, and ask for help if needed. Most importantly, never surrender. Put things in perspective. Take care of yourself. Find ways to replenish your energy, strengthen your faith, and fortify yourself from the inside out.” Les Brown
