New Synergy Station Leader Merch!

Synergy Missions Sports Camps is excited to roll out some new gear!

Synergy Cheer Camps will now have black long-sleeve hoodies and visors featuring the new Synergy Cheer (SC) logo, giving cheer station leaders a fresh, unified look.

We’re also introducing white and black long-sleeve hoodies for baseball station leaders, designed to be comfortable, practical, and easy to spot on the field.

These additions celebrate the growth of our camps and help our leaders show up ready and confident every day.

Synergy Sports Camps- A Part of History!

During the Texas Baptists Annual Meeting, history was made, and Synergy was a large part of it!

Texas Baptists and the Ukrainian Baptist Convention have entered into a partnership focused on the spiritual, emotional, social, and community renewal of Ukraine as Ukrainian churches face the complex challenges brought on by the current war.

This partnership will launch with 50 Texas-Ukraine partnerships. Of the multifaceted strategies to be employed, Synergy Missions is being invited to play a significant role in the sports outreach component of this movement.

This Baptist Standard article outlines the major role this partnership will play in the coming months.

Sometimes It's The Little Things

Greetings!

It’s hard to believe it’s already been nearly five months since I joined the Synergy Team as Sports Director. In that time, I’ve had the privilege of meeting many of you across Texas, El Salvador, and Europe.

One of my top priorities in this role is to serve as a resource for as many of you as possible. I know some of you are seasoned veterans who have been leading cheer and baseball camps for decades. Still, one thing I’ve learned over my 28 years in ministry is that there’s always room to grow.

Let's all ask, “How can this be better?”

Often, the biggest improvements come from the smallest changes.

For example, as a station leader, I frequently saw teams walk the wrong direction across the field because they were unsure where their next station was located.

At our camp in Westoverledingen, our team solved this by color-coding stations to match the rotation schedule. Teams simply matched the color on their schedule to the flag on the field—and the confusion disappeared.

These are exactly the kinds of ideas I want to learn from you. If you’ve found a simple strategy that helps your camp run like a well-oiled machine, I’d love for you to share, so please send your ideas to brent@synergymissions.net.

I look forward to learning from you and continuing to improve together.

Blessings,

Brent Neumann

Synergy Sports Director

Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
