Family, we've got another Family Reunion in the history books, a tradition we've held since 1973, 51 years!

There were over 100 family/friends in attendance this year, it was a great success!!

It was good to see everyone, meet new family, create new friends, and overall love on each other! We were also pleased to see the number of young adults and adolescents at the reunion. This made it so exciting!

A special 'thank you' to family members that hosted reunions in the past, Nikki Cornist and Stephanie Nelson you did an outstanding job and we are grateful!

This year, there were many family members that stepped in when needed, helping behind the scenes to ensure the NOLA family reunion was fun and comfortable for everyone. Finally, but certainly not least, 'thank you' Tiffanie Clark, who unselfishly gave her all to ensure everyone enjoyed the reunion. Tiffanie worked on the family reunion for months, did all the "legwork" and put in the energy to ensure the family reunion was the best it could be. Thank you Tiffanie on behalf of the entire family!

Every Family Reunion we bowl as a family and this year was no exception. As usual, we had a great time from traveling on the WeLive Party Bus to the food and fellowship. It was all a blast!

This year we were excited to travel to NOLA and we introduced a few new ways to approach the reunion. We used technology more than in the past with electric payment, text messaging and email. We asked for feedback through a text message and received a 51% response rate. Thank you!

As many may recall, the family reunion was scheduled to be in Detroit for 2020 but was cancelled due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, the 2022 reunion was also cancelled. We now have the opportunity to visit Detroit in 2026 and the family in Detroit is excited about hosting it in the revitalized Detroit! To see what's new in Detroit, click here.

As was done this year, we will seek input from all generations of family members to ensure we hear from a cross-section of the family. Some of the changes for this year's family reunion were a result of input from family members. We are experimenting with new ways of holding the family reunion such as the use of more technology, making it more casual, less mandatory events, giving family the freedom to experience attractions in the city both individually and collectively, making it easier to manage your own expenses by doing "pay as go".

We are working to build a new template for hosting the reunion so it's easier for the next generation to take over. In the meantime, please be prayerful that our next reunion will be a success and that we can build on it every year thereafter.
