Registration is open for five program locations across Northeast Ohio
First Tee – Cleveland is excited to kick off its 2021 outdoor programs on April 19th. Kids from across Northeast Ohio are invited to participate in fun and friendship on the fairways. This year, we welcome Black Brook Golf Course in Mentor as a new program location for kids ages 8-12 (Spring & Fall Session only) under the instruction of Coach Jay Schiffbauer.

In a safe environment with caring coaches, First Tee enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. First Tee provides everything a young person needs to learn and enjoy the great game of golf — including a t-shirt and hat. Trained coaches deliver First Tee’s core values and life skills curriculum seamlessly through golf. Social distancing and safety protocols are in place; masks are required for participants and coaches.

In addition to Black Brook, program locations include Cleveland Metroparks’ Washington Golf Course in Newburgh Heights, Briardale Greens in Euclid, Grantwood Golf Course in Solon, and Meadowood Golf Course in Westlake. Click the button below for schedules, program fees and registration information!

Sincere Thanks to Whitt Butler

First Tee – Cleveland conducted its first-ever “virtual” Annual Meeting on January 26. A sincere thank you to outgoing Board Chair Whitt Butler, Akron Office Managing Partner, Ernst & Young LLP. Whitt went above and beyond to lead and guide our organization the past two years, especially during the current health crisis. We’re extremely grateful to Whitt for his dedication, hard work and passion for our mission. Thanks for all you do, Whitt!
