October Blanket & Cold Weather Drive

October marks the beginning of the annual blanket and cold-weather gear drive for Madison County. St. Matthew’s is a collection point for the Continuum of Care for the Homeless, helping provide warm essentials to our neighbors experiencing homelessness.

Please bring donations to the white collection bin in the church breezeway. See the image to the left for a list of needed items and additional details.

Flower Power

Are you available to help give our altar flowers a second life after Sunday mornings? We would like to put together a team to create small arrangements from the Sunday altar flowers to deliver to friends on our pastoral care list. No flower arranging experience is necessary. Volunteer help is needed after the 11:00 a.m. service on Sundays or on Monday mornings.

Contact Emily+ at rector@stmatthewsmadison.org if interested.

Calling all veterans!

If you are a military veteran, St. Matthew’s would like to honor your service on November 8. Please complete this form OR send your full name and branch of service to Rachel Wyatt at rachel.a.wyatt@gmail.com.

October Pet Food Drive

This October, we’re collecting bags of dry dog and cat food to support the Humane Society and local animal rescue organizations.

If you’d like to help, please bring your donation and place it in or on the small pantry cabinet in the Narthex. Every bag helps provide food and care for animals in need.
