Provide feedback on the international travel registration policy

Iowa State's International Travel Registration policy was implemented in 2020 to help the university provide appropriate resources to travelers, promote safety and security of travelers, and comply with domestic and international laws. The policy is up for review, and we would appreciate your feedback to help improve the policy and associated procedures. Please take a few moments to complete a brief survey about the current policy and your interest in participating in a future focus group.

Unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) reminder

Operators who want to fly a UAS/drone from university property must submit an online UAS use request and receive approval prior to operating. That includes use of a UAS for:

  • research
  • work or business
  • instruction
  • student coursework
  • fun and enjoyment

Visit our Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) web page for additional guidance and information or to submit a UAS use request.

  • Tractors
  • ATVs
  • Contents within a mobile trailer
  • Generators
  • Medical diagnostic equipment
  • Landscaping, construction, farm equipment
