Introducing New Y’s Man Barry Kulick

Barry Kulick

New members keep Y’s Men a growing and continually interesting organization. Today’s new member, Barry Kulick, created a stir when he joined us carrying a large camera at our weekly Thursday morning gathering at the Sherwood Island Pavilion. This fall he will be doing a special presentation for the Y's Men Camera Club.

Read his bio below to learn more. Don’t forget, it is every member's job to scout for new Y’s Men. Here’s the link to give to potential members: Complete our online application: https://www.ysmenwestportweston.org/membership/membership-application/

Barry has had a long and successful career as a professional underwater photographer and cameraman. Originally from New York City, Kulick transitioned from guitar making to marine photography in 1988, turning his hobby into a full-time profession living in Miami. He now lives in Weston with his wife Miriam, and has one son.

Over the past decades, Kulick has traveled extensively, capturing a diverse array of marine life through his lens. His subjects range from tiny Pygmy Sea Horses to massive Great White Sharks, and his work spans from documenting ancient shipwrecks to showcasing the vibrant ecosystems of coral reefs.

He maintains a strong interest in photography and movies.
