It has been a long year since we started battling with all of the changes taking place in every single bit of our lives. March 2020, we held our breath and waited for Covid to go away or a least for someone to have a plan that would give us hope. April, we were all struggling with following the emerging "rules" for the pandemic and where we would get toilet paper. Our lives changed with school changes, fears of food insecurities, separation from our relatives, friends, people in our work life, and the people we lost along the way. I won't go on month by month, but I personally partially was holding my breath, not literally, that I would wake up one morning and it would be March 14th again, and life would be back to normal. Each month of the last 13 months has its own story for me, as I am sure it does for most of you. So here we are. I couldn't wait for the vaccine, and thanks to everyone who got us this far. This list is way too long to name everyone; you know who you are. Whether you are people who have supported me personally or you are the people who work tirelessly to keep us all alive. I thank you, and I love you. The future now belongs to us. My thinking has changed considerably about almost everything. I know we are still struggling in ways I could never have imagined a year ago. However, I feel it is the time for Hope and Help in every area of our lives. Please be sure to join us for Children's Mental Health Awareness Day at the Capitol (Virtual Edition) on May 6th at 10:00 AM!

What is Therapeutic Foster Care?
Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) is out of the home placement of children who have already entered the custody of a state agency. Children are placed in the home of a trained Therapeutic Foster care provider who assumes the duties of a caregiver. TFC Providers care for children ages 0-18 who cannot live at home because of previous neglect, emotional, physical, sexual abuse, and/or a current family crisis. Ga Parent Support Network offers community-based support services
