CVYO update and a special gift for YOU!

Conejo Valley Youth Orchestras update and a special gift for YOU!

Dear CVYO Families and Friends,

We're sending you this message today with wishes for good health for you and your family, and to thank you for your continued support.

For nearly 60 years, CVYO has weathered many storms, and has survived because of our supporters, and the strong leadership of our Board and Staff. This crisis is no different.

We want you to know that we are moving forward, instructing our musicians weekly, and we are excited for a wonderful concert, American Rhapsody , on June 7th! We will keep you updated.

Our Gift To You:

It's a well known fact that music lifts us up and we're happy to say that we now have beautiful audio recordings of our January concert, Tales From Russia. Thank you to volunteer, Mr. Kinch ( Zakk's dad-trumpet in the Preparatory Orchestra) for providing these recordings. Please download and share with your family and friends.

Listen to this beautiful music, it will soothe the soul. And, if you'd like to make a donation for the download, just click here. Any amount will be appreciated more than we can say!

Stay safe and healthy. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon!

Below is a special message from

Maestro Benson.

A little bit of levity

mixed with a

heartfelt message.

Open rehearsals originally scheduled for April 2nd have been postponed, but we encourage musicians to sign up here now . We will keep you posted!

CVYO has talented staff and a deeply dedicated board of directors who are working hard to propel CVYO into our 60th Anniversary Concert Season.

A special thank you and shout out to our wonderful board members:

Dan Kallen-President, Luana Cherry-Vice President, Anne Weidenweber-Treasurer,

Danny Syto-Secretary, Janeen Gallego, Cindy Kahn, Elizabeth Kuelbs, Dianne Rammon and Micah Tischler.

We're looking forward to

American Rhapsody

From the east coast with Leonard Bernstein’s “Symphonic Dances from Westside Story”, south to Klaus Badelt’s “Pirates of the Caribbean”, west to John Williams’ “The Empire Strikes Back” and everywhere in-between, the Conejo Valley Youth Orchestras will present American Classics and Favorites we all know and love.

Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”, an American favorite, will rock the house with musicians from all three orchestras in a massive performance!

Plus - a salute to our graduating Stars!

*Thank you to Jishnu, flute in our Preparatory Orchestra, for this wonderful artwork!
