FULL MOON IN TAURUS

Release the Old
Reclaim Your Power
Rebuild from Within

Moon in Taurus opposes a Sun in Scorpio on Monday, October 26th at 11:11 pm EST. Taurus is the sign of self-worth and boundaries, security and safety, life’s simple pleasures, money and abundance, luxury, comfort, and harmony. It is the sign that represents all that we love, our personal resources, and personal values. The Moon is happy in Taurus and brings attention to our emotional wellbeing, but also to stability, security, comfort, abundance, and grounding. Scorpio is the sign of deep emotion and subconscious motivators. Sun in Scorpio shines a light on truths, and perhaps even emotions, that were not available to us before, clarifying what is missing in our lives so that we feel fulfilled and taken care of. Putting all this together, Full Moon in Taurus wants us to enjoy the fruits of our labours and to connect with taking care of ourselves and our needs. Any true deep core soul values that we have been hiding or put aside are rising to the surface. What is fulfilling or meaningful to us about life? Where are we ignoring a need or putting our values aside? We are encouraged to take our feelings more seriously, to notice how we feel in our interactions, and to use our feelings as a guiding compass towards what it is that truly makes us feel fulfilled. We are learning empowerment through what makes us feel abundant, grounded, joyful, present, and happy. Enjoying beauty, pleasure, nourishment, and love is sacred!

Just two days before the Full Moon, Mercury began its backward movement through Scorpio, turning our attention inward and encouraging deep reflection, inner truth-seeking, and healing conversations. Mercury in Scorpio invites us to look beneath the surface, uncovering hidden motivations, unspoken truths, and emotional patterns that may have remained unresolved. Old conversations, memories, and relationships may resurface, prompting us to reconsider the past and recognize what we may not have been ready to understand before. With communication taking on a more intense and introspective quality, questions around trust, intimacy, vulnerability, and emotional honesty may come into sharper focus. Misunderstandings, delays, or revelations may challenge our perspectives, reminding us to pause, listen carefully, and avoid rushing to conclusions. Rather than shying away from uncomfortable truths, we are encouraged to explore what has been left unsaid, acknowledge feelings we may have suppressed, and approach difficult conversations with honesty and compassion. This 3-week period offers an opportunity to revisit old narratives, gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and others, and begin healing through greater awareness. By finding the courage to face what lies beneath the surface, we can transform the way we communicate, release outdated perceptions, and move forward with greater clarity, self-awareness, and emotional wisdom.

This year's Full Moon in Taurus offers us an opportunity for deep healing. The Moon is aligned to Chiron while the Sun is aligned to Venus, bringing deep emotional wounds around love, self-worth, security, and belonging to the surface. The Moon and Chiron highlight old hurts and sensitivities, revealing where we may have struggled to feel safe, valued, or accepted. With the Sun and Venus, these feelings may be reflected in our relationships, bringing unresolved heartbreak, past connections, and patterns around giving and receiving love back into focus. Venus has recently moved from Scorpio back into Libra and sits at the final degree of Libra, adding extra pressure on unfinished business around relationships, justice, fairness, and balance. Important truths may need to be acknowledged, and long-standing imbalances addressed, both personally and collectively. We may be questioning where we have compromised our values to maintain harmony, sought validation from others, or neglected our own needs in the pursuit of love and acceptance. We are invited to acknowledge uncomfortable truths, reconsider what love and worth truly mean to us, and release patterns that no longer support our emotional well-being. Although this alignment may bring tender feelings to the surface, it offers an opportunity to transform our wounds into wisdom, choosing self-compassion over judgment and authenticity over approval. Moon in Taurus reminds us to return to what grounds and nourishes us, teaching us that true harmony begins within and that a deeper sense of self-worth creates the foundation for healthier, more balanced, and meaningful relationships with others.

The Full Moon is also in a tense relationship with Pluto. All themes Taurus and what is revealed by Chiron and Venus are under the proverbial magnifying glass. Pluto brings hidden truths, buried fears, and deep-rooted patterns to the surface, exposing power dynamics and highlighting where issues of control, trust, jealousy, emotional dependency, and fear of rejection may be preventing us from moving forward. Vulnerabilities already being stirred by this Full Moon feel even more exposed. What have we been avoiding? Where has fear or attachment shaped our choices? We may be confronted with uncomfortable truths about where we seek validation, resist vulnerability, or attempt to maintain security by controlling outcomes or holding on to what is familiar. Relationship patterns that no longer support our growth may reach a turning point, revealing where we have compromised our authenticity or neglected our own needs in the pursuit of love, acceptance, or stability. With Venus, unresolved relationship matters and imbalances around fairness, reciprocity, and self-worth may become especially difficult to ignore. Although Pluto's influence can bring intense emotions and challenge our sense of security, it also offers an opportunity to release deeply rooted patterns and reclaim our personal power. We are invited to look honestly at our wounds without allowing them to define us, recognize where fear has influenced our choices, and transform the ways we give and receive love. Now is the time to surrender what is no longer serving our emotional well-being, allowing the discomfort of change to lead us towards deeper self-awareness, genuine healing, and relationships rooted in authenticity rather than fear, control, or the need for external approval.

Mercury, at the time of the Full Moon, begins to move into a tense square to Mars in Leo, exact on October 30, bringing intensity to our thoughts and conversations and heightening the potential for sharp words, heated debates, and impulsive reactions. We want to confront what has been left unsaid, and we have a strong desire to express ourselves and stand our ground. We may feel compelled to speak our minds, challenge opposing viewpoints, or push for answers before we have fully considered the consequences of our words. Luckily, because Mars is supported by Saturn, we have an opportunity to channel this restless energy into constructive action, combining courage and initiative with discipline, patience, and strategic thinking. Rather than allowing frustration to dictate our responses, we are encouraged to pause and breathe, choose our words carefully, and approach difficult conversations with both honesty and maturity. We are reminded that strength is not simply about speaking the loudest or acting the fastest, but about knowing when to stand firm, when to listen, and how to direct our energy towards meaningful progress. By balancing the urge to react with the wisdom to respond thoughtfully, we can turn potential conflict into an opportunity for clarity, resolve long-standing challenges, and lay the groundwork for lasting change.

The Full Moon is supported by what can be called a mini grand trine, involving Saturn/Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto. This is a very harmonious energy encourages practical yet outside the box solutions, innovative thinking, and meaningful changes that create lasting improvements. Saturn and Neptune encourage us to create our dreams in every moment, to ground our ideas in practical action, spiritual wisdom, and purposeful commitment. Uranus and Pluto open the door to fresh perspectives, progressive solutions, and the release of outdated beliefs, structures, and patterns that no longer serve our growth. The potential for profound personal and collective breakthroughs is amplified. We can reshape established patterns and routines, challenge conventional thinking, and reveal new possibilities for the future and with Saturn’s influence, it is easier to implement new routines and patterns that support our growth and desires. Together, these planetary energies create an opportunity to work with change consciously, transforming realisations or inspirations into meaningful action and revolutionary ideas into sustainable progress. This isn’t transformation through upheaval. Through awareness, we are offered the opportunity to embrace transformation with discernment, pair vision with discipline, and approach the unknown with discipline, courage, and trust. Now is the time to build something more authentic, transformation begins when we dare to imagine a different future and commit to bringing that vision into reality.

There is also a Finger of God formation between the Sun/Venus at the top, Uranus and Saturn/Neptune forming the base of the triangle. The planet at the top of the Finger of God signifies a point of major adjustment, sacrifice, redirection or correction, so that other energies can move forward. There is a heightened sense that something is asking to be seen or understood in a new way. With the Sun and Venus at the apex, the central message is to transform our lives by confronting the truth about who we are, what we value, and what we are emotionally attached to. We are being called to a shift in perspective and a deeper alignment between personal values, intuition, and future direction. This configuration blends the Sun and Venus’s focus on identity, relationships, and what we truly value with Uranus’s call for awakening, freedom, and change, while Saturn conjunct Neptune challenges us to practically manifest these principles and our desires in our daily lives. As the Full Moon activates these energies, unexpected insights or meaningful developments may prompt us to reassess our priorities, release outdated expectations, and recognize possibilities we had not previously considered. The experience may feel fated or difficult to ignore, inviting us to trust our intuition while remaining grounded and discerning. We are encouraged to make necessary adjustments, embrace a more authentic path, and turn emerging awareness into purposeful choices that better reflect who we are becoming. We are learning that transformation begins when we have the courage to face the truth, let go of what we have outgrown, and choose what holds genuine meaning and value.

This Full Moon in Taurus invites us to take responsibility for the lives we are creating and to ensure that our choices reflect our deepest values, needs, and desires. Through the truths that emerge, the emotions that surface, and the patterns we are finally ready to release, we have an opportunity to redefine what security, abundance, love, and fulfilment truly mean to us. We are encouraged to question what we have been holding on to out of fear, where we have given our power away, and what we are ready to change to create a more authentic and nourishing life. We are reminded that meaningful transformation begins with awareness but becomes lasting through conscious action and daily commitment. We may not be able to control every circumstance, but we can choose how we respond, what we nurture, and what we allow into our lives. As we consciously choose to transform outdated beliefs and make space for new possibilities, we can begin building a future rooted in greater self-worth, integrity, stability, and purpose. Through tension and transformation, we are rebirthing stability, peace, and abundance from the inside out — a return to harmony within ourselves and with life itself. This is a time of self-acceptance, and a time to observe what we are allowing into our lives, and what we want to keep out. Are we behaving, speaking, and making choices that reflect our authenticity, our deepest needs, what we want to create?

We are always in a state of Co-Creation.
