Welcome to Our February Newsletter!
| |
|
Dear members,
We finally made it through the few darkest weeks of the year! We've reached the beautiful month of February! We hope you will all enjoy it!
Psychology Month is celebrated every February. Thank a psychologist today! They make a big difference in some people's lives.
February 2 - February 8 represents Suicide Prevention Week.
"Taking part in Suicide Prevention Week means adding your voice to a larger movement of people who refuse to accept suicide as an option. Every year for one week, make a commitment to prevent suicide in your community and among your loved ones" (AQPS). Prevention is the key to a brighter tomorrow. This week, this month and forever, let's advocate for mental health, share resources, and remind each other that seeking help is a sign of strength.
February represents Heart Health Month as well. Let's take a moment to think about all the great ways we can use to better our Heart Health this month.
In addition to that, we have some great activities coming up and we cannot wait to do all of them with you!
Happy Valentine's Day, dear members!
With lots of love and care,
SSEN

Need extended time off due to injury or illness? There are protections in place to support you. From employer assistance programs to public health benefits, resources are available.
