In an evolving market, your home value may change more than you’d imagine.
In our opinion, the problem with online estimate sites, such as Zillow, is that their algorithm doesn’t work well in areas of non-conforming homes. In other words, in a track development of homes, where the size of a home and their lots varies little, and the topography is flat, Zillow works fairly well. But in the Bay Area, where the land varies greatly insofar as usability, views, and with many homes being custom built, the sources we’ve found are wholly inadequate.
We think we’ve finally found a better home valuation tool—not perfect—but better than the ones you may be familiar with.
