Greetings!,
Hopefully your business isn't all about money. The best businesses, the ones that are around for a long time and grow more easily, fulfill other needs than just the financial ones. They add value to their community, the solve big problems, they generate joy, they make people (employees and customers) feel good in some way.
But... that doesn't mean the money part isn't important. In fact, it's critical. If your business isn't making money (profits), or at least enough money, then you're not going to stay in business and whatever other benefits you're generating aren't going to matter.
So the question is - how healthy are your profit margins? And are you paying attention to them (other than just cashing your checks...)?
