What People Are Saying
It felt good to be able to to engage with Holden Village while isolated. In fact, I think it would be a good idea to continue virtual fundraisers even after the pandemic, because a lot of us can't make it to Holden every year.

It was a fun experience!

What a great idea to keep people connected.

Holden is about community so things that connect me to others in the Holden community are what I love.

At our age, not traveling much, we appreciated the Fund a Need option of giving a mattress. It was a good connection.

Really like the online auction option. Often because of distance we cannot attend some things and this gives us that chance. I think this is our first Holden fundraiser.

More cowbell!
Thank you for being a part of this new, fun way to connect and support Holden Village!
2021 SUMMER TEACHING FACULTY

Holden seeks teaching faculty for the 2021 summer program that includes global and domestic perspectives and experiences in the visual and performing arts, the sciences, theology, environmental and racial justice, and more. We also look to invite guest musicians to coordinate with staff in enlivening the community's life together through music. The application for both teaching faculty and guest musicians will be live on the website on November 1st, 2020. Submissions will be accepted until December 11, 2020.

We are preparing a modified summer schedule for a limited guest population subject to COVID safety guidelines. We see the challenge that COVID presents an opportunity to re-imagine our program. Join us in the process.

Holden commits to gathering into community an exceptionally qualified teaching faculty of diverse faith backgrounds, races, cultures, abilities, gender identities and sexual orientations, and ages to craft dynamic and interactive sessions for all ages. If you have any questions about the process, please contact: educationprogram@holdenvillage.org.

FAREWELL TO ANNE GINTZ

After 8 years of dedicated service to Holden Village, we bid farewell to Anne Gintz, Director of Annual Giving & Community Engagement.

Anne was instrumental in creating and building Development & Outreach from the ground up for Holden Village. She's led fundraising campaigns for many of the Village improvements, cleaned up and improved processes, and built innumerable relationships with Holdenites near and far.

Anne is amazing. Most recently, Anne helped launch Holden's online wish lists and served as lead staff for our first ever online auction. Anne has left an indelible mark on Holden and we are forever grateful that she chose to share her talents with us.

We wish Anne well on this next chapter of her life with her family and homeschooling. She's promised not to be a stranger, so we look forward to seeing Anne sitting on an Adirondack chair by the Ark in the near future!

Blessings to you, Anne. Thank you for everything.
