What is the SER?

The Spartan Experience Record (SER) helps students collect, document, and verify MSU experiences that shape their education, from research opportunities to on-campus employment.

Students can also utilize the SER opportunities catalog as a resource to discover new experiences at MSU!

Review what has been added to the Spartan Experience Record by checking out the SER Catalog.

If you don’t see your experience included, join us for a workshop or schedule a meeting to get started. Find more information and schedule meetings on our website linked below!

Your Feedback is Needed!

Join a student focus group to talk SER, what works, what doesn’t, and how it really feels for YOU to use the portal!

Free Pizza will be provided, and all participants will receive an MSU Dairy Store Free Scoop coupon!

• Tuesday, February 17
• 4:30–5:30 PM
• STEM Building 2nd Floor – SER Office

During the session, you’ll have the opportunity to navigate the SER platform and share what feels intuitive, what’s confusing, and how the system comes across from a student perspective. Your feedback will help us better understand how SER supports students and where improvements can be made.
