Help Us Grow Our Tree...Donate Today

Ongoing is our happy receipt of all your tax-deductible donations to the Friends 501c3. If you would like to see a leaf on the beautiful tree mural in the lobby, visit this link:

Donate

Each donor will have their name appear on a leaf of the tree on our new mural in recognition of your support. You can pay via PayPal or bring a check to the library made out to the Friends of the Rowley Library. Green leaves for individuals are $25. An orange family leaf is $50. And a gold top contributor leaf is $100. These donation leaves are replacing our traditional, costly May mailed membership drive.

Your support helps the library offer great programming and resources all year long!

Join us at our next meeting: Wednesday, February 5 at 7pm at the library.

January & February display: On the Farm

Local artist Alan Bull will present a new exhibit "On the Farm" at Rowley Public Library from January through February 2025. Works on view will include recent pastel drawings of landscapes and rescue animals created at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm in Newbury, MA. Additional works include scenes of Ipswich, Rowley and Newburyport painted in oils and watercolors.

Alan Bull has been painting the New England landscape and teaching oil and watercolor workshops for over 30 years. Originally from Old Town, Maine, Alan received his BFA at the Philadelphia College of Art and he worked as a studio assistant to international glass artist Dan Dailey before embarking on a career as a painter, muralist, illustrator and art instructor. He has also enjoyed creating work in a wide variety of media including 3D photography and pastels, glass, pen and ink, ice sculpture, and printmaking. For more information please visit www.alanbull.com Instagram: @abullstudio

Alan will teach a watercolor workshop for beginners on Saturday, Jan. 18. Get more information or sign up HERE.
