A Spanish Adventure to Remember 🇪🇸
At the beginning of September, hubby and I embarked on a dream vacation to Spain, exploring Barcelona, the Costa Brava, and the beautiful island of Mallorca.
At the top of my wish list was experiencing firsthand the extraordinary architecture of renowned architect and designer Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926). Touring the magnificent Casa Batlló and visiting the breathtaking Basilica de la Sagrada Família were absolute highlights! The colors, flowing forms, incredible materials, and inspiration drawn from nature, water, and the sea made my designer's heart sing. His imagination and creativity were simply captivating.
As we traveled along the coast and eventually made our way to Mallorca, we explored charming historic towns, indulged in delicious fresh Mediterranean cuisine, and soaked in the spectacular shades of blue that seemed to stretch endlessly across the sea. Along the way, we met wonderful people from all over the world, making the experience even more memorable.
It was truly an inspiring and restorative getaway, filled with beauty, creativity, and a renewed appreciation for the art of living well.
Stay tuned for our upcoming blog post, where I'll share lots of photos, favorite discoveries, and more of the sights and experiences that captured my heart. Hopefully, they'll spark a little wanderlust in you, too!
