Wingmasters
Mon., Aug. 16 - 10:00am
Wingmasters use LIVE hawks, falcons and owls, along with a wealth of visual aids, to demonstrate how raptors have evolved to communicate on a variety of levels.
All of the birds used in their program are non releasable, and held under educational permits. Many are injured because of interactions with people; others serve as representatives of native species that are under pressure from habitat loss, pesticide use and climate change.
This program will take place on the library lawn. No registration required.
