Thank goodness its never too late to say THANK YOU! Though I shared on social media, I wanted to be sure to share with those that may not be within our FaceBook group, especially our teachers!
I prepared formal remarks for that evening, but if you were there, people were having too-good-of-a-time to be interrupted for long. Here's what I would've shared:
Time.
Without question.
The greatest gift.
If you told me three years ago that I'd be standing here...
Again...
I would've laughed.
Like you, I'm here for our kids... it's simple really.
We don't get this time back.
Might as well have THE BEST TIME while supporting those we'd do just about anything for.
I would not be standing here without the leadership at the Batch. Mr. Killeen. Thank you.
Thank you for trusting me and all of my insane ideas to further fund and enhance your already incredible teachers and staff.
Teachers and staff, I don't know how you do what you. You're incredible and we're here tonight raising money to support you both in and out of the classroom.
My volunteers there are SO many of you! Thank you does not seem like enough. When 90% of your committee is the same committee from the centennial 2.5 years ago... there are not enough words! Thanks for making me look. Not sure where I'd be without each and everyone of you.
