SCORE Rhode Island’s popular "grow your business" workshop series returns to the Providence Public Library this fall with six sessions designed to sharpen the skills of local small business owners. Starting October 18th and running for 6 consecutive Saturdays, experienced SCORE mentors will cover the fundamentals in business including management efficiencies, strategic planning, marketing, sales, and finance. This program assists entrepreneurs who have been in business for at least two years in creating a Business Model Canvas (BMC) to assess the different moving parts of their business that in turn will enable better decision-making and best practices.
Experienced SCORE mentors will cover the fundamentals in each business session, one per week. See below for details of the session content. There will be ample time for questions and answers following the session presentations.
Each session will start at 9:00 AM and will end at approximately 11:30 AM. The Providence Public Library is located at
150 Empire Street in Providence, with ample parking nearby.
These sessions are IN PERSON ONLY.
