Celebrate the chilly season with a warm cup of hot cocoa and learn how to leverage your Student Experience Record (SER) to secure scholarships on Tuesday, December 3rd. This event features presentations from SER Ambassadors, MSU Financial Aid staff, and Undergraduate Research representatives. Customize your cup of cocoa with numerous toppings and gain valuable insights into how to enhance your scholarship applications. Spartan Experience Record Ambassadors and Undergraduate Research Ambassadors will be available to connect with you following the presentations.

Campus To Careers

The Spartan Experience Record team thanks the Delta Sigma Theta chapter on campus for inviting us to speak at their "Campus to Careers" event this past month. The event equipped students with essential skills for transitioning into the professional world, covering topics such as business attire, resume building, and career engagement strategies. Practical advice was delivered to attendees through a panel of peers and professionals, of which the SER was happy to be a part of.

We encourage you to send us an email if you are interested in having an SER team member speak at your groups' events. We're always happy to chat about engagement outside of the classroom!

FAQ: How do I get started using my SER?

A great place to start is by exploring our website. Login to the Spartan Experience Record platform and take a look around. Once logged in, under the “Spartan Experience Record” tab you will see validated experiences you have participated in at MSU. If you are currently participating in an experience that you believe is a fit to be included on your SER and don’t see displayed in this section, the next step would be to suggest the experience to be added. Additionally, follow us on social media to stay up to date on programs, news, and resources.

Add to the Spartan Experience Record

The Spartan Experience Record team is excited to hear from you about the out-of-class experiences you’re involved in, especially those experiences that are not yet included in the SER. Undergraduate students can submit an experience to be included in the SER via the student submission worksheet. Ambassadors are happy to assist students through the submission process. Email mystory@msu.edu for assistance throughout the process or once submissions are complete.
