Harvest Recap
After late nights, early mornings, and long, fruitful days in between, our harvest has officially come to an end. This season brought us grapes from across Northern Michigan, as well as fruit from our own seven estate hybrid varietals — destined to become beautiful blends and stand out vintages, ranging from crisp and dry to lush and sweet.
Now, Winemaker Chaz and Apprentice Joey are hard at work running sugar and alcohol tests, deep-cleaning the cellar, and preparing the wines for their winter rest and aging. The excitement of harvest may have passed, but the quiet magic of winemaking has just begun.

Join us December 17th from 6-8pm for a cozy, hands-on grapevine wreath-decorating class in the cellar! Jill has been busy making estate grapevine wreaths from this years harvest in preparation for your evening of fun! Chaz and Jill will guide you through decorating your own festive holiday wreath. Enjoy a relaxed, creative atmosphere surrounded by the scents and textures of the season as you transform freshly gathered materials into a beautiful piece to take home.
Ticket is $65 and includes all the supplies needed to decorate your own masterpiece and a glass of wine to enjoy while crafting.

A bittersweet farewell to our dear Rachel. Since joining us in May 2021 fresh out of Hope College, she’s been an incredible coworker, server, friend, and leader. From partner relations to staff shenanigans, from mastering WSET levels 1-3 to five seasons of helping grow Petoskey Farms--her impact is woven into every corner of this place.
We’re so proud of the woman you’ve become, Rachel. You’ve blessed all of us with your dedication, humor, heart, passion and so much more! Sending all our love and God’s blessings to you and Brady as you move downstate to be closer to family and begin your next adventure! We will miss you! You will always be part of our family at Petoskey Farms!
