Dear everyone, 

On behalf of Myeloma Canada, I am pleased to welcome Alysa Batzios as our Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving — a newly created role on our team. Alysa will be reporting directly to me, Martine Elias.

Alysa brings over a decade of experience advancing philanthropic strategy in hospital foundations, education, and the arts.

With a background in law and art history from McGill University, Alysa approaches donor engagement with a blend of analytical rigour, emotional intelligence, and creativity. Over the course of her career, she has secured millions of dollars in support of mission-driven organizations.

Alysa's thoughtful, values-based approach prioritizes trust, clarity, and long-term partnership, making her a strong addition to our growing team. We look forward to working with Alysa as we expand Myeloma Canada’s reach and deepen our impact across the country.
