December 2024

Dear Residents and Community Members,

In this season of giving, we continue to witness all that is good in our community. We are pleased to announce that the November Flags for Our Heroes program raised $500 which was donated to the Orange County Nam Knights in support of their efforts with the Wreaths Across America program. Thank you to all that participated! On December 3rd, the community came together for the first ever Holiday Tree Lighting at Town Hall. With Santa present to light the tree and greet both young and old alike, it was a fun filled evening and wonderful way to begin the holiday season! A special thank you to Laila and Pete Proulx of Pete Proulx Landscaping, Inc. for their generous donation of the beautiful pine tree as well as the lights adorning it. We are truly grateful for their generosity and commitment to giving back to the community they call home.

Throughout this month's update, you will witness stories of celebration, kindness and going the extra mile. As we prepare to welcome 2025, let us always be reminded of what is truly important and continue to celebrate these treasures in our life.

Wishing you the blessings of the season and a healthy and prosperous New Year!

Cordially,

Tony Cardone

Supervisor, Town of Monroe
