The Vista Chamber's State of the Community Luncheon is an annual event that brings together local leaders, business professionals, and community members to celebrate Vista’s achievements and discuss its future.

County Awarded Grant to Waive Permit Fees for Home Cooking Program

Are you interested in becoming a home kitchen operator? The County’s Department of Environmental Health and Quality (DEHQ) received a grant from the state to waive permit fees for those who want to operate a Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operation (MEHKO). Fee waivers will be issued on a first come first served basis and will continue until available funds are exhausted or the waiver period ends, whichever comes first. The waiver period runs through May 2025. Learn more here.

Share Your Ideas for Vista's Parks, Recreation, and Wave Waterpark

The City of Vista is seeking your feedback to help create a new Parks and Recreation Master Plan. Your input will influence decisions about three upcoming parks, enhancements to Brengle Terrace Park, and plans for the future of the Wave Waterpark as it nears its 30th anniversary. As a thank-you for participating, you can enter a raffle at the end of the survey for a chance to win tickets to the Moonlight Amphitheatre or the Wave Waterpark. Complete the survey here.
