Spend five minutes on LinkedIn, Instagram, or YouTube and you'll be inundated with marketing advice. Some of it is excellent. Some of it is outdated. And some of it sounds smart—but quietly wastes time, money, and energy (for example, when it’s simply not the right fit for your brand or doesn’t mesh with your existing strategy).

Small businesses, startups, and local companies might find this especially taxing, because a lot of the supposed "one-size-fits-all" advice has absolutely nothing to do with their business approach, budget, or goals.

So this month, instead of sharing another marketing tip, we're sharing one you can safely ignore: You need to post every single day.

This is not true! In fact, you could be wasting a lot of your team’s time and energy by just trying to keep a streak alive. Plus, your most creative minds can burn out by trying to churn out content every day.

Years ago, posting every day seemed like a strong approach. The thinking was simple: The more often you appeared, the more you’d be remembered. Go quiet? They’ll go somewhere else.

Today's audiences work differently. They're drowning in content. They don’t want to see more posts just for the sake of giving their scrolling fingers a workout.

They want curated, meaningful, and timely content.

Spend less time worrying about quantity and more time improving quality. Focus on brainstorming, creating, designing, scheduling. People will notice, and they’ll appreciate it!

There are plenty of marketing "rules" that deserve to be broken. If you'd like to see more myths busted in future newsletters, let us know. We’ll make it a regular addition to your inbox.

We believe in sharing strategies that move you forward—rather than give you more to do or more to ignore.

Jungle Queen is entering an exciting chapter under new ownership, and we're proud to be along for the ride.

We’ve been working closely with the new ownership team, beginning with press releases and strategic communications to help share the news and set the stage for what’s ahead.

Exciting things are on the horizon for this iconic Fort Lauderdale attraction, and we can’t wait to share more!

Giving back is one of our favorite ways to spend time together. The M4M team volunteered with Food For The Poor, packing relief boxes to support families in Venezuela following the devastating earthquakes.

We're grateful for the opportunity to work alongside an organization making a real difference and proud to do our small part to help communities in need.

Celebrating One Year!

We're celebrating two special milestones as Lucy, our Marketing Coordinator, and Palak, our Marketing Communications Specialist, both mark their one-year anniversaries with Mad 4 Marketing!

Over the past year, they've each made a meaningful impact through their hard work, creativity, and dedication to our clients and team.

We're so grateful to have them as part of the M4M family and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Congratulations, Lucy and Palak!

The Marketing Audit That Only Takes 1 Hour and Sets Up a Successful Q4

Marketing has a funny way of accumulating clutter: A landing page gets built for one campaign and never updated. A call to action made perfect sense last spring but now promotes an event that's long over. Three social platforms are being maintained because they've always been maintained—even though... It’s Time to Turn Old Clothes Into New Outfits—But With Your Content

If you've ever stood in front of a closet full of clothes and thought, "I have nothing to wear," you're not alone. Of course, that's almost never true. You have plenty to wear. You just haven't looked at it with fresh eyes. The same thing happens in marketing. And that’s why... Read more.
