Strengthening the Intersection of Faith and Health

Our health center was represented by our Chief Social Services Officer, Rafael Jimenez, at the Third Annual Intersection of Faith and Health event, held in recognition of National Faith and HIV Awareness Day.

The event brought together healthcare providers, faith leaders, and community organizations to discuss HIV prevention, mental health, and trauma-informed care.

Through participation in collaborative initiatives like this, Care Resource continues to support community partnerships that improve health outcomes across South Florida.

From Healthcare to Shoreline Care

Our health center joined Board Member William Mathisen and community partners, including the Biscayne Neighborhood Association, the Adrienne Arsht Center, Google Fiber, and the International SeaKeepers Society, for International Coastal Cleanup Day 2026 at Margaret Pace Park in Miami.

Together with volunteers from across the community, we rolled up our sleeves to help protect Miami’s waterways, shorelines, and public spaces.

Care Resource team members recently attended TRANSPIRE 2026, a national conference hosted by NASTAD that brings together public health professionals to share innovative approaches, best practices, and strategies for improving community health outcomes.

The conference provided valuable opportunities to learn from colleagues across the country, strengthen partnerships, and explore new approaches to prevention, treatment, and supportive services. Our health center's participation reflects our ongoing commitment to advancing high-quality, patient-centered care and bringing the latest public health insights back to the South Florida communities we serve.
