A Year of Growth, Achievement, and Community

Dear AL Community,

As we close another incredible school year at Académie Lafayette, we are filled with pride and gratitude. From classroom learning and performances to athletics, international exchanges, and community celebrations, this year reflected the strength and spirit of our school community.

Across all campuses, students achieved remarkable things. Our youngest learners continued building strong foundations in two languages, while middle and high school students excelled in academics, athletics, the arts, debate, and service learning. We proudly celebrated 35 graduates from Académie Lafayette International High School, who together earned more than $3.7 million in scholarships and are heading to universities, career programs, and the workforce with confidence and purpose.

This year also brought exciting growth across the district. Bond-funded projects moved forward, transportation improvements expanded opportunities for students, and we continued investing in student support services, technology, and learning spaces. Events like Evening in Paris, Generations Day, IB Exhibition, concerts, field trips, international travel, and athletic championships reminded us that learning at AL extends far beyond the classroom.

None of this would be possible without our dedicated building leaders, teachers, staff and coaches, our generous volunteers, donors, host families, and our supportive parents and PTO. Thank you for the countless ways you contribute to our community.

Summer may be beginning, but learning continues at AL. We look forward to welcoming many students back for summer school for another season of enrichment, learning, and fun. It is also a moment to analyze our district annual performance, review the students, parents and teachers survey results to set goals for next school year.

Thank you for believing in and supporting Académie Lafayette. Have a safe, restful, and joyful summer. We cannot wait to welcome everyone back in August
