Save the date for camps!
Band, Orchestra, and Choir camps will be day camps this year, not overnight camps, due to district mandates.
Save the dates:
- Band camp: September 10-12
- Orchestra camp: September 17-19
- Choir camp: September 24-25
Locations and more information to follow.

The district only pays for teacher’s salaries; everything else we have to raise or donate.

This year’s fund a need: Making Private Lessons Equitable and Available to Anyone
Ballard Performing Arts strives to provide an inclusive, welcoming, and united community for all BHS students. Aligned with this is our strong belief that ALL students should be able to equally participate in all activities that the Ballard Performing Arts offers regardless of their financial ability to participate.
This includes one-on-one music lessons, where skills gained help with the student’s technical ability, confidence, and overall musicianship. We want to ensure that there are no barriers and that everyone can benefit from one-on-one coaching!
A $50 dollar contribution will pay for one lesson. For $1,000, you can help one student access instrument specific lessons twice a month for the entire school year. For $5,000, we can help 5 students access lessons twice a month for the school year. Please help us make these music lessons equitable for ALL Ballard Music students!
