Be Smart Online: Protecting Your Kids from Online Predators 📱

Join us as Sam Parker, an FBI agent specializing in online predators, comes to give a presentation to bring awareness to the reality kids are facing in a world full of technology at their fingertips. This event is geared toward 6th graders through grandparents, so come learn how we can help protect our kids from online predators!

Charge Conference

The Charge Conference is scheduled for Monday, Nov 9 at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary. Come as we vote on a few matters and celebrate what God is doing at Lakewood!

16th Annual Cardboard City

We're hosting Family Promise for their 16th annual Cardboard City! This is an incredible fundraiser for Family Promise and an opportunity for us to show support of this organization. This year we do have a couple volunteer needs:

1pm-A few volunteers needed to help prep for dinner.

5:30pm-A few volunteers needed to help serve dinner.

Marc and Pam Winant and Pat Zeiser will be leading the team to cook the meal and could use your help! If you're available, we'd love to have you!

Be sure to look between your couch cushions and in your pockets for all of your spare change so that you can bring it Sunday morning! All loose change and designated funds in Sunday's offerings will go towards missions in Cuba!

Women in Prayer 🙏🏼

Every Monday • 9:30am-10:30am

All women are invited to gather each Monday from 9:30–10:30am in the Library for a special time of prayer.

Together, we’ll pray for our preschool, children’s ministry, and youth, as well as the children and grandchildren in our own lives and community. Moms, grandmothers, aunts, friends—all women are welcome!

Come as you are and join us as we lift up the next generation in prayer.

Please note: There will not be prayer group on November 23.

21 Strong 💪

Every Thursday • 6:30pm

Join us on Thursdays at 6:30 for 21 STRONG. Ages 18-98 are welcome to attend. Bring water and a mat or towel and meet in the CAC Gym. We'll start with word and prayer, move into stretching and warm-up, then review and perform your individual workout with the group while inspired by song. The weekly 21 STRONG sessions are geared toward building your physical strength in order to better serve others.

The monthly Trustees Meeting for November is scheduled for Nov 10 at 6pm in the Library.

Office Closed

The church office will be closed on Wednesday, Nov 11 in observance of Veteran's Day, so there will not be any Wednesday night activities either.
