“There’s no place like home.” ~ The Wizard of Oz
Until now,
the 50-year-old Kent Animal Shelter couldn’t find a new site to accommodate growth and replace its own aging facilities. “It’s been a whirlwind and a long, strange road these last few years, but we’ve landed right back on our own foundations.”
The shelter will unveil its newest site plans and schematics at its “No Place Like Home” 50th Anniversary Party on Saturday, September 28th from 6-10PM at the Cherry Creek Woods Golf Club restaurant, Stonewall’s. Tickets, available now online through Event Brite, are $75 per person and include:
Appetizers
Buffet dinner
Live music
and dancing
huge GoCharity auction
Chinese auction
Raffles
Wizard of Oz fun!
All proceeds benefit the Kent Animal Shelter’s 2019 Rescue Fund.
