Coming up with a sound approach to content marketing can seem scary if it’s not part of your existing strategy. Like navigating a haunted house while blindfolded. We get it, and that’s why we dedicated our “spooky season” October newsletter to outlining the steps involved…like a friendly flashlight to offset the shadows and guide the way.

These steps include:

  • Audit your existing content. Which pieces are performing well? What topics are you missing? Do all of your pieces cross-link, and is there an actionable next step for potential clients and customers on every article?

  • Outline your new strategy. This includes identifying the channels where you’ll post your content and determining a cadence (a common template involves daily social media posts, weekly emails, and monthly blog posts).

  • Anticipate success. What does success look like for you? Perhaps there are certain metrics you’ll want to achieve, like views or clicks. In some cases, the goals might be more vague—like creating content that properly reflects your brand’s unique voice, or learning that your audience looks forward to each of your new posts.

  • Read our recent blog post for more tips about “Content Marketing in the Age of AI.”

Feeling a little more prepared? We hope so!

If you’d like to dive deeper into each of these steps and apply them to your specific business goals, we’re happy to help you get started, and, as a “treat,” give you the “tricks” (and tools) to take off from there.

As one of the area’s largest community celebrations since 2007, Wicked Manors transforms Wilton Drive into a vibrant, inclusive space for thousands of costumed guests, all while supporting The Pride Center’s important programming.
